Rumble Pictures is an emerging award winning youth film production house based in South West Sydney, Australia. Rumble Pictures seeks in delivering artistic expression from all forms of genres and media such as short films, graphic design, web design, photography, documentaries, music vids etc.

In late October Timothy Ly and Jack Ngu got a chance to play some extra’s on the set of SBS’s ‘Swift and Shift’ ( Formally Pizza ).

The Victoria screening at Melbourne University was a success with over 200 people in attendance. Timothy Ly and Maria Tran was invited as part of “Asia Week 2008” as part of the New Directions of Asian Australian Cinema. Screening MC2, Tim and Maria then took part of a lengthy question and answer by the audience. By popular demand, MC2 is being asked to have to more screenings in Melbourne. Expect details soon.

Downtown Rumble will be screening every Saturday morning on ABC1’s ---JTV @ 9am.
At 9:15am, Saturday 26th of October, Rumble Pictures made Oz history by producing the first Australian Kung Fu TV series --- Downtown Rumble.
As part of Triple J TV, Director Ryan Peters and the team at Rumble started production in July and is currently screening over the course of 5 weeks every Satruday Morning ( 25th October to November 15th )

Over the couse of four days from the 25th-26th September there has been an overwhelming response from the local area of Fairfield. With over 600 people attending the screenings of MC2.
A huge milestone for the RP Crew!
The opening night featured special guests from all different fields with the launch night opened by close friend and filmmaker - Khoa Do. Also in attendance was the guys from SBS’s ---‘Fat Pizza’, ABC’s - Double The Fist’, and even Federal MP Jason Claire.

With only a month away until the completion of Downtown Rumble. Here’s a sneak preview of the action with our previsual fight choreography.
We just had a slew of promotional hitting it from the local media to the national wide papers.
The Rumble crew had the great privledge to attend the studio recording on ABC’s new show – The Half Hack Hour --- A forum where young people discuss topics that are relevant to todays youth.
The show previewed MC2 as part of the nights discussion on ‘Fighting’; MC2 was used as an example of the channeling violence into more constructive and creative channels such as the Martial Arts and also filmmaking.

A brand new upcoming Action/comedy project that will be coming later this year. Made specifically for Channel ABC’s, “JTV” morning music show.
Directed and written by Ryan Peters, “Kiss Kiss Punch Kick” is being developed as a 6 part Kung Fu mini series. We’re currently looking for people to get involved in this momentous project that will be primarily shot in Western Sydney during the end of August and early September.
We are particularly keen on looking for people in the following areas:
- Graphics/Web Designer - Projects include a) on-screen designed captions b) graphics for website
- Computer Graphics Designer - a) CG water pistol fight sequence
- Stills Photographer - x4
- Hair/Make Up Artist - x 2
- Martial Artists/Stuntmen - x15
- Costume Designers a) sewing of ninja head gear (need to have access to sewing machine) b) on set costume fitter
- Production Assitants x 2
- Sound Composers/Designers a) fighting sound effects
- Music - original music to be featured in the film
