A film made by young people for young people, Maximum Choppage 2 (MC2)  is the sequel to the hit martial art comedy and award winning 2005 best short Film -- Maximum Choppage.

Produced in 2003, MC ( Maximum Chopppage ) was praised for its technical and conceptual innovation. Pioneering the approach of ‘guerilla filmmaking’ --- using the little of what you have to your advantage.

Taking hold of an ordinary Sony digital home video camcorder it broke ground in the portrayal of Martial Art films using satirical wit to poke fun at itself.

In 2004, Timothy Ly, director/producer of ‘Maximum Choppage’ set to take another challenge by using it’s principles of “guerilla filmmaking”, again with no budget to speak of and with a small group of volunteers sharing epic ambitions, he started the long arduous journey in developing ‘Maximum Choppage: Round 2’.

Four years in production, MC2 has culminated into a production crew which consists of 25 volunteers from all around Western Sydney which now make up ‘Rumble Pictures’. The crew range from not only filmmakers, but to graphic designers, engineers, singers, political activists, Martial Artists, to journalists to even electricians.

MC2 will be the first of its kind using innovation in style and substance to weave an epic tale filled with breathtaking action and gut-wrenching comedy.

MC 2 is set to fire up on screens in mid 2008.
